Cincon Releases CHB500W Series, New 500W Half Brick Size 4:1 Input Range DC-DC Converter

      Introducing the new CHB500W series, a 4:1 input DC-DC converter providing 500W of regulated output power. This compact unit, designed to industry-standard half-brick dimensions, boasts Cincon’s highest power density in this size category.

 

      The series meets with the IEC/UL/EN 62368-1 safety standard and features 3000 VDC isolation between input and output. With input ranges of 9-40 VDC and single output options of 12, 24, 28, 48, and 54 VDC, the series includes a trim function with a maximum range of -20% to +15% and a remote on/off feature. Optional models with parallel capability are available for higher power needs.

Exceptional Performance:

      The CHB500W series delivers high efficiency of up to 91.5% and operates reliably in a wide temperature range from -40°C to +105°C. It is also suitable for high-altitude applications, with a maximum operational altitude of 5000 meters.

Full Protections:

      The CHB500W series includes input under-voltage lockout, output over-current/voltage protection, and continuous short circuit protection. It meets safety standards including IEC/UL 62368-1, MIL-STD-810F/EN 61373 for shock and vibration, and EN 45545-2 for fire and smoke, ensuring exceptional reliability.

      This series is suitable for industrial/ITE applications such as radio/satcom devices, IPC, drones, automation equipment, test & measurement instrument, power management system, industrial control system, and other industrial applications.
