Cincon releases new 40 watt railway DC-DC converter with input range 43-160 VDC and very high efficiency up to 91%

Cincon introduces the new series ECLB40W-110 packaged in a 2.05" × 1.2" x 0.4" inches six-sided shield metal case and ECLB40W-110 series provide up to 40W of output power @ single output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, 15VDC and dual outputs voltages of ±12 , ±15 , ±24VDC. These modules are compliant with industry standard 1" × 2" footprint. It has a wide (4:1) input voltage range of 43 to 160 VDC (110VDC nominal) and 2250VDC basic isolation.

The ECLB40W-110 series have a very high efficiency up to 91% and allows ambient operating temperature range of –40°C to 85°C (de-rating above 60°C). The modules are fully protected against input UVLO (under voltage lock out), output over-current, output over-voltage and over-temperature and continuous short circuit conditions. ECLB40W-110 series also feature very low no load power consumption (6mA) and make these converters an ideal solution for energy critical systems. Furthermore, the standard control functions include remote on/off (positive or negative) and 10% adjustable output voltage. All models are very suitable for railway, distributed power architectures, telecommunications and industrial applications.
